Roman Walls and Towers in the Cellars of the Abbey

The historical vaulted cellars of the former Benedictine Abbey in Deutz rest in part on the ruined fortifications of the Roman Fort Divitia. The Society for the Promotion of Deutz Historical Park (Förderverein Historischer Park Deutz e. V.) is dedicated to the history and archaeology of Deutz and offers guided tours of the grounds of Deutz Historical Park.
